In mold design and steel selection, toughness is one of the key mechanical properties used to ensure that the mold could withstand a large amount of impact load and extrusion force. As the exclusive agent of KIND&CO high-end die-casting die steel in China, Ningshing insists on steel quality control as a top priority.
  

Specimens are taken, prepared and tested strictly according to NADCA #207-2018, V-notches are being shaping by a hydraulic tensile tester. Once the testing begins, the specimens are clamped in a PIT pendulum Impact Tester and subjected to impact under specific pulse forces. Based on the morphology of the fracture and test data, steel toughness performance is evaluated and its mechanical properties and failure mechanism are inferred.
  

Each bar of high-end die-casting die steel supplied by Ningshing undergoes impact toughness testing, which provides reliable data for customers to accurately evaluate the toughness, strength and durability of the steel, ensuring the quality, reliability and service life of the mold and making the best efforts to meet your needs.
