Today we especially recommend a kind of tool steel which is high versatility in the American market -  AISI A2 steel, a kind of cold working tool steels belong to‘A’group in ASTM A681 standard.

   

It is heat treatable and offers a hardness of 57-62 HRC, that replaces O1 tool steel when safer hardening, less distortion and increased wear resistance are required. It makes A2 steel a good fit for applications requiring extreme accuracy of size, as well as for very large parts like large blanking dies, trimming dies, coining dies, wear inserts and precision tools.
