DIN 1.2311 Plastic Mold Steel

A, 1.2311 prehardened plastic mold steel main chemical composition:
B,other grades: AISI P20, 40CrMnMo7.
C, smelting method: EF + LF + VD, argon protection electroslag.
D,the material characteristics and application areas: 1.2311 is a pre-hardened plastic mold steel material, delivery hardness of HB280-HB325, can also be negotiated delivery state (tempering state) other hardness ranges, such as HB300-HB340/HRC32-HRC36. 1.2311 mold steel material has good machinability, very suitable for texturized plastic products processing, compared with 1.2312 has a good mechanical processing performance, very suitable for texturized plastic products processing. Compared with 1.2312, it has better polishability.
E, With the forging, heat treatment related thermal process parameters.
①After forging annealing, annealed hardness HB ≤ 235.
② quenching hardening temperature: 840 ℃ -870 ℃.
③ quenching medium: oil or 180 ℃ -220 ℃ salt bath.
Tempering temperature: see tempering curve.
F, the delivery of tempered state grain size: in accordance with GB/T6394 rating, grain size ≥ 6.
