On December 3rd, Ningshing was honored to host a technical training and exchange in collaboration with experts from Kind & Co., focusing on the market trend, leading edge technology and applications of premium die steel, in particularly in the automotive industry. 

   

 

Changes in the automotive industry have been a hot topic in recent years. Increasing sizes of the cast products (Giga Casting), integration of functions in the cast component, and drastically increasing demands of aesthetic cast products are actual challenges. It leads to higher demands on die steels with improved properties, such as high temperature strength, toughness, thermal shock resistance etc. KIND&CO premium steel grades CS1 and TQ1 combine significantly increased properties to extend lifetime of dies significantly.
